Fighting Fear and Anxiety
Podcast
Chrystal Evans Hurst andJan Greenwood have a real talk on The Sister Circle Show about how to effectively fight fear and anxiety when circumstances are beyond your control.
Chrystal Evans Hurst and I recently shared a phone chat around the topic of Fighting Fear and Anxiety.
The Sister Circle Retreat
When we found ourselves in the midst of the Corona Virus outbreak, most of us experienced an accelerated level of fear - one that hopefully motivated us to self-shelter as best we could and be wise about our social engagements.
But the uncertainty, conflicting information, loss of employment and an ongoing concern for the economy, education, the health field as well as all those “essential” workers, can create in our heart and in our world a cesspool of anxiety that is difficult to keep at bay.
If you find yourself sensing that fear is trying to hold onto your heart due to circumstances which are beyond your control, then please listen in.
We talk about how my journey with cancer has helped me to learn to beat down the fear that comes with crisis, loss of health, and lots of ambiguity.
Although we are sharing my story, I pray you find your story in the context.
“The Bible uses the term “fear not” three hundred and sixty-five times; once for every day of the year.”
“Helping You Live Moments that Matter ”
